Need Some Tips On Gaining Weight Without Protein Supplements…?

I’m 17, 6′ 2″ and I weigh 160 and I’m trying to gain weight. I’ve been hitting the gym hard for 6 months but I haven’t gained much weight and I still feel like a twig. I can’t buy whey protein or other supplements (thats my parents idea), so I’m trying to get my nutrients from my food instead. I analyzed my diet and I’m eating the right foods…around 5000 carbs per day. Should I increase my food in protein or meat? What do I need to do?

Just drive to the pharmacy and buy some whey powder…they’ll never know! If you can’t do that, try to eat more meat and complex carbs (bagels, pasta, bread, etc…) Also with all that meat and carbs you are gonna want to increase you fiber intake for digestive purposes.
The supplements just make it easier to monitor you protein intake but you can get the same protein from food so don’t feel like you have a huge disadvantage.
A good target weight would be 175-185 assuming its mostly muscle.

brewing yeast. It has a lot of vitamin B, too. It will make you gain
weight in a week. Either buy at pharmacies, as supplement, or in any
place which specializes in brewing. Three pills a day/three tablespoons a
day – depends on the product, and you are there. Good for bones and
    hair as well.
You will have exercise real hard, because it’s fattening. And your parents can’t object to it – it’s a natural product (and NO, there is no alcohol in it).

Negative Calorie Foods

The phrase, "negative calorie food", as highlighted in negative calorie diet programs and books, usually refers to foods that allegedly require more energy to digest than they contain. Since the process of digestion requires the use of calories for energy, sometimes the net amount of metabolizable energy available from a food is less than the gross number of calories contained in the food.
